- Departure from your hotel at 8:00 a.m. Day tour of the island of Nosy Be, passing by the waterfall and the sacred tree to discover and see the customs and traditions of the local population. Continue to Hellville, visit the market, craft shops and souvenirs, before going to the village of Marodoka. There, you will quickly understand that this locality has a history, even older than that of Hell-Ville because before the time of colonization, Nosy Be maintained commercial relations with distant countries like India or Arabia not to mention Africa.
- Traders and merchants from these countries established a trading post in Ambanoro, and trade flourished. In the center of the village today, you'll see the remains of a Hindu temple, a few houses still standing with the architecture of that bygone era, and you'll likely encounter locals, descendants of the Africans who came there aboard giant dhows.
- Visit the small distilleries with their stills, ask to pick some ylang-ylang flowers to keep as a fragrant souvenir back home. Along this road, you'll still see vanilla plants, another aromatic plant that Nosy Be was the main producer of for years.
- Lunch in a restaurant in Hellville or on Andilana beach.
- To end the visit in style, climb up to Mont Passot, the highest point in Nosy Be at 326m. Admire the 360° panoramic view of all of Nosy Be, the Mitsio Islands to the north, Nosy Iranja and the Radama Islands to the south.
