- Located on the west coast of Nosy Be, you'll find an island with a preserved ecosystem, Nosy Sakatia. Nicknamed the Orchid Island, its unique feature lies in the forest trails, beaches, coves, fishing villages, and medicinal plants that surround it. Take the time to explore this 6 km by 2 km natural island on foot. An authentic place thanks to the warm welcome of its inhabitants, as well as the relaxing pace of life. The island is made up of several beautiful beaches and small, relaxing coves, making it a prime destination for snorkeling. In this transparent and peaceful water, you'll have the chance to encounter giant turtles, swim with whale sharks, and observe whales depending on the season. The luckiest among you might even spot a family of dolphins! Enjoy this unique activity in a heavenly location to recharge your batteries.
- Picnic lunch on the beach.
- In the early afternoon, board a boat and sail to Nosy Fanihy, a small uninhabited island worth exploring for its magnificent white sand beach and colorful shells, on the edge of transparent and sparkling water. Nosy Fanihy is considered sacred by the Malagasy people because some of the Sakalava kings, sovereigns of Nosy Be, are buried there, in a very old cemetery. An interesting walk that brings you closer to the history and culture of the inhabitants.
- Surrounded by crystal-clear waters, it's also a wonderful place to go snorkeling and explore the beauty of the seabed. The marine life on this islet has remained virtually untouched over time; it's so rare that you have to take advantage of it! In this magnificent turquoise water, you can even simply dive in apnea to observe the diversity of the species that live there. You might see anemones, tropical fish, and turtles.
